Regional Maintenance Technician - Temporary
Evolve Treatment is a behavioral health and substance abuse recovery program for teens and adolescents. We are hiring for a Temporary Regional Maintenance Technician for our facilities located in Los Angeles. This will be 40 hours/week for 3-6 months.
Payrate: $30/hour
Job Description:
Regional Maintenance Technicians provide maintenance support for residential treatment centers. The
Temporary Regional Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for patching and painting home
interiors. Technicians are responsible for completing all service requests at the direction of the Director
of Facility Operations as well as each facility’s Operations Manager and Program Director, including but
not limited to:
• Facility Maintenance:
o Ability to diagnose and perform general repairs of facility
o Proper drywall patch and paint home interiors
o Painting entirety of home interiors
o Perform basic plumbing and electrical needs
o Assemble basic furniture
o Ability to repair and install cabinet and door locks
o Must be able to work independently and make competent decisions in regard to repairs
needed
• Maintenance Accounting:
o Document and record costs of repairs and jobs completed
o Complete required reporting for Evolve credit card tracking with receipt uploading
Preferred Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Comfortable working at locations in the San Fernando Valley
• Additional equivalent technical/trade school courses in maintenance or a construction-related
field a plus
• Documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States;
• Valid CA driver’s license
• Reliable transportation, needed to travel between locations
• 2-5 years of experience
• Ability to clear a background check
• Recent verifiable work history references complete with contact information
• Prior paid work experience painting home interiors
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Computer literate
• Proficiency with mechanical and electrical tools and appliances
• Ability to clearly and appropriately communicate with others
• Ability to model positive behavior, conduct, and dress code to residents
