Reports to: Director of Facilities Operations Status: non-exempt, Part-Time (14 hours/week) Locations: 2 facilities in Sacramento Payrate: $28 - $30/hour
Primary Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance Technicians are responsible for completing all service requests at the direction of the Director of Facility Operations as well as each facility’s Operations Manager and Program Director, including but not limited to:
Facility Maintenance:
Ability to diagnose and perform general repairs of facility, including vehicle(s)
Proper drywall patch and paint
Provide and submit bids or estimates for major maintenance repairs
Flexible work schedule but must be available for emergencies and respond as needed, if available
Must be available to travel
Perform basic plumbing and electrical needs
Assemble basic furniture
Ability to repair and install cabinet and door locks
Must be able to work independently and make competent decisions in regard to repairs needed
Maintenance Accounting:
Document and record costs of repairs and jobs completed
Complete required reporting for Evolve credit card tracking with receipt uploading
Facility kitchen and chef assistance:
Responsible for assisting with labeling of food items in pantry, fridge, and freezer (see Food Labeling Cheat Sheet for details, located on or near facility fridge)
Responsible for assisting with throwing away expired food items, leftovers, and emergency food supplies
Preferred Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional equivalent technical/trade school courses in maintenance or a construction-related field a plus

Valid CA driver’s license
2-5 years of experience
Ability to clear a background check
Recent verifiable work history references complete with contact information
Willingness to travel
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Computer literate
Proficiency with mechanical and electrical tools and appliances
Ability to clearly and appropriately communicate with others
Ability to model positive behavior, conduct, and dress code to residents
Must be willing to drive to both our locations in Sacramento (Arden oaks and Fair Oaks)
