Evolve Treatment Centers offers cutting-edge intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential programs for teens ages 12 to 17 struggling with substance use and mental health disorders.
We are currently looking for an Operations Manager overseeing our 6-bed center in Sacramento, CA! This position will be responsible for the day to day operations of the two Residential Treatment Programs, including management of staff, ensuring smooth operation of the facility including support with client admissions and discharge, and ensuring Evolve is meeting all compliance requirements for JCAHO, CARF, CCLD.
Job Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
Collaborate with Human Resources and Scheduling Coordinators to oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding of clinical and nonclinical staff
Provide direct supervision to 25+ Residential Counselors, Overnights Counselors and a Chef
Model a positive, inclusive workplace environment and culture and ensure all company policies are followed consistently.
In collaboration with Clinical Director as needed, performs write ups, disciplinary actions, 90 day and annual reviews for RCs and chef.
Provide ongoing training, guidance, and mentorship to RCs
Lead Evolve University on-site tours for new staff.
Ensure timeclock is in full working order at all times and that hourly staff are properly clocking in and out and taking required breaks and monitoring/managing overtime
Identify training needs to counselors and chefs and facilitate trainings as needed or as requested by Clinical Director
Review Overnight Kugadi checks and ensure that overnight tasks are completed nightly
Provide relevant operations updates in Treatment Team meetings

Facility Support/Compliance:
Ensure facility compliance with accreditation and program standards, including CCLD, CARF, and Joint Commission requirements.
Oversee facility safety protocols including stocking of emergency food supplies, conducting checks and tests for regular and emergency food supplies, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and that all emergency drills are completed and that emergency binders are current and updated.
Ensure weekly house calendar is updated and includes vendors, emergency drills, Evolve holidays, staff birthdays, and any other relevant information each month
Submit Incident Reports and participate in incident report debriefing, as needed
Oversee facility purchasing and take weekly inventory of all facility supplies and ensure that the facility has all necessary supplies on hand
Ensure Chef is maintaining compliance with food labeling and storage, menu standards, temperature logs, etc. in the kitchen
Monitor and oversee Chef Budget(cross referencing receipts) and Facility Budget(house credit card and petty cash)
Assist with food transportation between programs
Ensure staff office is neat and organized and supplies are put away in a timely manner
Ensure house is tour ready at all times
Ensure that the physical grounds and interior of the facilities are well maintained and coordinate with Director of Facility Operations to coordinate repairs and upkeep needs of the facility
Coordinate with experiential vendors and approve invoices
Submit approved reimbursements to accounts payable for approved expenses
Other duties as assigned
Client Support:
Assist with client supervision and counselor duties during critical staff shortages
Assist with successfully facilitating client admits and discharges
Resolve client problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
Assist nurse in providing transport clients for off-site medical appointments and lab work, as needed
Provide supervision to COVID positive clients as needed
Organize weekly client Saturday outings with Clinical Director and schedule sweet treats
Coordinates client discharge surveys

Requirements:
Previous supervision and management experience required
Must be able to multi-task and have excellent time management and organizational skills
Able to communicate effectively with clients, staff, colleagues, and supervisors
Exude a respectful and professional demeanor and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with staff, parents, and clients
Must possess the ability to stay calm in stressful situations and respond to emergencies appropriately
BA degree preferred
Must be 21 years or older
Must possess a valid California driver’s license and reliable form of transportation
Must be able to pass a LiveScan background check and clear federal and state criminal background checks, and child abuse indexes.
Must be willing to interact with COVID-positive clients, as needed
Willingness to participate in On-call rotation
Pay Range: $70,000 - $77,000
