Mental Health Therapist – Adolescent Treatment (AMFT, ACSW, APCC)

We are currently hiring a DBT Primary Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy to teens with mental health and/or substance use struggles in our 6-bed Comprehensive DBT residential program in Tarzana, CA.

This role is an exciting opportunity to gain specialized training and supervision in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. The Primary Therapist role carries a caseload of 3 clients, allowing time for focus and meaningful work with each client and family.

The DBT Program is a comprehensive DBT residential program, which means that the full treatment model is applied adherently via the following:

• DBT Individual and Family Sessions
• DBT Skills Training Groups
• Milieu-based DBT Skills Coaching
• Weekly Consultation Team meeting

• Provide adherent DBT individual and family therapy sessions for 3 clients. 
• Facilitate 1–2 DBT Skills Training Groups per week and document clinical notes accordingly.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, offering phone support and managing after-hours clinical needs.
• Support clients through discharge planning, including home contracts and after-care referrals.
• Attend weekly Treatment Team and Psychiatry meetings, contributing clinical updates and insight.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.

• Active California licensure as an LMFT/LCSW/LPCC (applicants with registration as an AMFT/ACSW/APCC also welcome)
• Ability to pass LiveScan, federal/state background checks, and child abuse index clearances
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
• Experience implementing evidence-based practices, including CBT.
• Strong motivation and commitment to learning DBT and being a part of a comprehensive DBT team.
• Experience on a DBT team is strongly preferred but not required.
• Valid Ca driver's license
